MY PARROT IS SO ANNOYiNG !!!?
i have a frican grey parrot. hes SOO anoying
weve had him for about 10-12 years an dhe suddenly wont shut up !!!
i like want it to die or something ( not really )
but it just always makes high pitches noises and wont stop !!! and its the noises that go through you like a screech.
HOW TO I MAKE IT SHUT UP???
it has a big cage. toys. and is always fed. its cage is next to a window, and i just dont know what to do !
could it be scared of outside? because i googled the subject and it said that it could be scared or something like that. and its been in the same enviornment for a while and recently started screeming.. so i closed the window blinds and it was quiet
maybe its scared . theres always movement outside, ( apartment ) or maybe it wants to be out there .. idk
absolutely move your bird's cage away from the window. try to put the cage in a corner, against two walls. it will make your bird feel more secure. african greys tend to be very high strung, so subtle movements can put them on edge.
also, how are you reacting to his noises? the louder their environment gets, the louder they get. so, if you yell to get him to stop, he'll just get worse. same goes for the tv/radio. the louder it is, the louder the bird will be (sometimes not out of anger, but they're trying to interact with their surroundings).
it may be a good idea to try some good old fashioned blanket treatments. get a sheet (i'm assuming it's a relatively large cage) that will fully cover the cage. when your bird starts acting up, give it a warning (rephrase the warning exactly the same way every time). the, if the screaming continues, cover the cage. once your bird is quiet for 5-10 minutes, remove the cover. keep repeating this. african greys, especially, won't need long to catch on. eventually, your warning will be enough to quiet the bird down. my grey actually starting telling me "quiet or i'll get the towel" when i had my tv too loud! 
finally, if you're really unhappy with the bird, consider giving him up. if you're not happy, he's not happy.
