for a cat: human voice or other sound such as birds?

it is a treat dispensing toy ball that you can record a sound onto so that the treat ball will make a noise when the kitten plays with it...they tell you to record your voice but I thought it might be better to record a more natural sound for the cat, such as birds chirping...what do you think I should record into the toy? My voice or birds chirping or something else completely different?
If the kitten will be left alone during the day while you work, your voice may be soothing. If you are home, then bell noise is attractive. I don't think bird noises would be a good idea - kitten will know to attack birds even better than what they do naturally!
