my african grey parrot died,how do you think he died?
ok so in 2008,i had found a baby african grey about 1year old or younger but not too young and i found him around 946 PM on my front yard wrapped in a ball(sleeping position) on my lawn. he seemed ok ,not sick at all,but the only thing wrong was he wouldnt open his eye.we took him in&decided we would keep him&take care of him forever.so that night we found him,we took him in,fed his seeds,he was pretty happy he was hanging upside down in the cage playing around.so the next day we fed him then went to the pet store to buy food,toys and stuff.when we came back he was was laying on his side on the bottom of the cage just barely alive,it illed me inside,so we took him in the car to find a vet and in my luck they were all closed 
. when we were driving around looking he digested in the box he was in.Then he took his last breath and died in my arms.the weird thing was,when he died,his eyes opened. please,serious answers only,how do you think he died?
Probably was poisoned by accident by the original owner of your bird. The fact is you were able to capture it without a fight and was curl up on your lawn meant that it was already sick when you first got him. (A healthy bird would not be on the lawn just waiting for someone to come by and pick it up from there). I hope I was able to shed some light on how your African Grey died.
