What can I make with a Devils Food Cake Mix? I bought a box mix at the grocery store today and I want to try to make something different. I don't want just a basic cake mix with icing. Give me some ideas or suggestions and Nothing with fruit, please.

Upside Down Cake Recipe

2 cups mini-marshmallows
1 cup brown sugar
1 package chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups hot water

Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare chocolate cake mix as directed on package. Mix marshmallows, brown sugar, cocoa, and water in a bowl. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Spoon cake mix on top of marshmallow mixture, do NOT stir.

Bake for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool.

When cooled, flip cake out onto cookie sheet or serving platter
