Although the tube bird feeder is a common choice among bird watchers, a hopper feeder could be a better one for you. To reduce this problem, simply ensure that the bird feeder is placed on a pole or hung in such a way as to keep it at least six to seven feet off the ground to keep squirrels from jumping on it. Hopper feeders can be an excellent investment. Choose one that fits the style of your garden. Generally, you can find these feeders in all price ranges and styles. However, do invest in a quality product to give you a long lifespan. When you do that, these bird feeders will work well throughout the winter months, too.
