How can I keep bugs out of bird food?

I have a sun conure. I buy food by the bulk, or several bags at once and then store the food in a container like this, http://www.backyardstyle.com/shop/index.php?page=shop-flypage-2074.
It seems as though I am always having issues with bugs, be it moths or small beetles in the food. I will open it one day and it is like they have been there breeding for months - they are all over.
I have done the thing where I put the bags of food into the freezer for a few days to kill off anything that may have gotten bagged with the food, and still got bugs. the lid ALWAYS stays tight, and is supposed to be air tight.
Has anyone dealt with this issue and know how I can keep them little critters out of there, or from hatching if in the bag? At first keeping the food this way would save me from going to get it often, and actually made the cost cheaper buying so many.

Jordan: If you read my question, I do not buy from bulk bins, I buy many bags at one time like in bulk.

the sad fact is that its COMING with the food. The moth and beetle larva are in the seeds. There is no way to stop them from getting in, cause actually they are coming out. I would suggest where ever your buy bulk, to tell them the food is mothy... they may have to throw out the batch... though moth larva wont hurt the birds its down right disgusting and they will eventually invade your home and make your food inedible.

There is no way, your supplier is infested. They need to know about it. This is not good food selling practice.
