"the picture looks like a table, with a puck going in a circle of radius r = 20 cm counterclockwise with a string of negligible mass hanging through a hole in the center of the table attached to a cylinder of mass M2 = 2.5 kg."

The centripetal force of the puck's circular motion needs to be equal to the gravitational force of the cylinder. This means the force of the puck from it's circular motion will be enough to prevent the cylinder from rising or falling.
So the equation for centripetal force is (m1)(v^2)/r, where m1 is the mass of the puck, v is it's speed and r is the circle's radius. The equation for gravitational force is simply (M2)(g) where M2 is the mass of the cylinder and g is acceleration due to gravity (9.8 m/s^2).
Now these equations are equal, so rearrange to isolate v and solve. You know everything except v should it should be no problem. Also keep in mind you need to convert the radius to meters.
