I want to make a long, flared skirt like Yuna's in Final Fantasy X (pix below) but it doesn't have to be pleated, i just need to make it flared so that it'll move with me when i move. I don't mind using lots of fabric but I really don't know how to make a flared skirt.
Do you cut the fabric out into a big rectangle, sew it together so it would look like cylinder and then somehow make the top smaller to fit your waist so the bottom will be flared? I really don't know how to do the waist part and how to make it flared, help!
