today when i went in to my avairy i couldnt find my zebra finch. i searched through everything and then i turned around and he flew up from somewhere. half of his face has been attacked and his eye is closed and i think permanenlty damaged. the feathers are gone and it just looks like blood, like its all red just skin. what can i do to help him? he still perches i put him in a cage by himself and put the nest in and hes in there. how can i clean him up? should i put him with his mate? im goin to take her out and put her in another cage anyway cos it would have been one of my budgies that attacked him. please serious answers, preferably bird experienced people

yeh im keeping them in their own cage now. hes acting completely normal he jst cant see out one eye. hes still really energetic and still chirps
Take him to the vet immediatly and get him treated, its most likely not gonna survive being such fragile bird's ...but like i said, get him to the vet and he might make it.
