Why does my birds foot smell?
My bird will put a foot on my face when he is cuddling with me and i noticed that his left foot has an odor to it but the right foot does not. His foot is not swollen, red or shows any sign of infection or hurting just a slight odor.
He also takes a bath almost everyday.
if your bird lets you do such things, wash it. i heard dawn soap is ok for birds. if it still smells after that, take the bird to a vet. there are fungus and things that birds can be sick with.
birds naturally do not stink.
