The most common problem associated with increase in weigh these days is the fat deposition on the stomach which in turn leads you to a bigger belly. Belly fat is not only embarrassing, it also means that you've been out of the exercising routine of late and really need to start working out as soon as possible. There are several associated medical problems too with a belly. And therefore it must be attended to as early as possible. An increasing belly also means that you'll no longer be able to fit into those trousers that you bought last summer and it also means that you'll no longer be the one attracting chics at the beach.
So what do you do if you want to reduce belly fat? Well, I have a fairly simple solution, exercise and eat proper diet. I know most of you must be feeling really odd about what I just said, but that is what it really takes and also grit and determination. If you really want to reduce your belly fat, you'll have to spend a few extra hours each week at the gym and also alter your diet suitably.
As far as exercise goes, you must add a brisk walk or jog of at least 20 minutes to your daily routine. Try to walk to the office or get down at one station before your regular stop so that you can walk. Go to the gym for at least 9-12 hours. It'd be really great if you could add to it a weekend game of football or baseball or tennis. The focus should be more on weight training exercises when in the gym and not so much on the cardio. Weight training exercises ensure that you burn the maximum amount of fats and replace them with proteins which are lighter and stronger and bring out the perfect shape of your body. A weekend game will ensure that you get loads of fresh air in and out of your lungs and also removal of harmful toxins along with sweat.
Along with all the exercises above you must also eliminate all the fats and high carbohydrate foods from your everyday diet. You must get ready to immediately say a no to fried and oily foods. You must also bid goodbye to those McDonald's and Burger Kings and the pizzas. It's also high time that you suppress the temptation of eating peanut butter. These are all high in unsaturated fats and therefore do more harm than good to your body and overall fitness.
You must eat more of high water content foods like fresh fruits and fresh veggies to reduce belly fat. You should also replace your breakfast with oats, cereals, and high protein containing sprouts. You should also increase the intake of high roughage content items like cucumber, tomatoes, watermelon, papaya etc. High roughage diet ensures that your bowel movement is proper and thus, the fat burning process is at its peak speed.
In your quest to reduce belly fat you must not exhaust yourself so much that you fall ill. Make a proper balance between how much you work out, how much you eat and how much you rest. It is important for all of us to sleep for at least 6-8 hours every day to give our body, muscles and mind enough rest to be prepared for the coming day's onslaught.
