As you might expect, sugar sculptures are harder to find than a cake or other baked goods but if you can find a sugar artist in your area, this is one gift that will leave a lasting impression!
Combine the Two!
If you've looked around and can't find something that catches your fancy, here's an idea for you. Buy an iron basket, inlay a cloth of your choosing and fill it with personalized M&Ms™. Wood is such a versatile material to work with...there are literally hundreds of possibilities to choose from. Jewelry, furniture, novelties, clocks, shoes (yes, I said shoes)...your choices are only limited by your imagination. I would give some concrete ideas here, but ultimately your choice of wooden gift will lie in large part with what you think your partner would appreciate. You know your partner. Think of something that he or she would really appreciate and pursue it. I'm a big fan on hand-crafted items (preferably by you), as I think they carry the most sentimental meaning. If you are gifted or talented with woodworking, then definitely go with this option. If not, don't worry! There are many, many choice available to you!
