I have removed the paint on the cage which i am going to keep finches in.
which one is better for finches:paint it with glossy alkyd paint or leave the iron bars uncovered.
if you have any other suggestion tell me.

You will need to paint it or it will rust since you have removed all the old paint. After you paint it, it will need to dry out in the sun for at least a couple of weeks to make sure the paint is completely dry and there is no paint smell.
