Jumbo crochet hooks?
My mom has MS, and she gets very bored throughout the day, so I am trying to help her find a hobby to do. She has limited ability with her hands, but she can still use them, so I was thinking about crocheting. I don't know how to do it, but I was thinking we could learn together, so I bought her jumbo sized crochet hooks. Now I was wondering if she could still make the typical scarfs, blankets, etc. that can be made with the smaller (typical) hooks?
Also, does anyone else have any other hobby/craft ideas that she could do to occupy her time?

The size on the box says the hooks are 10.00 & 15.75 mm.
Here is a link for marymaxim. click on yarn accesories and then on crochet hooks. They sell hooks that are ergometrically designed for people who have difficulty holding small hooks. I think they sell them at Michaels too if ther is one near you.
