Are Green Cheek Conures(GCC)------ ?
Are they good for slight beginners? I've taken care of birds in the past, and I had a budgie and a cockatiel(though both died from an illness :[ )
So I have a cage that is 18x18x30, and one breeder I talked to said it was decent cage if I plan on taking him out everyday(which I do plan on)
But what I a concerned about is how are they personality wise? Are they really mean and bitey and loud?
I'm after something that doesn't squawk like a cockatoo, something on the not so large side like a macaw, and a bird that likes to be out and play with you and hang out with you and bonds and loves you.

Conures are good pet bird,but cockatiels or parakeet are better.Conures like to be independent (Some of them) and cockatiels are very friendly they love to be outside.From what you said taking it out of the cage everyday is very good it will bond with you even quicker and love you more,I use to owned a lovebird he was very friendly to me and so does my cockatiels.If you have taken care of birds in the pass then you can still take care of cockatiels there great size they do not squawk a lot.
