Any tips for seed scattering from cage?
Do you have tips or good ideas to help seed from scattering out of the cages? The cage is pretty large but seed is thrown out sometimes. I have seen those things that wrap around cages (seed catcher) but they are made from cloth and he eats it so I need something sturdy.
Go to local home improvement center.
Buy some plexiglass sheets--they are easily scored and cut to size with a razor blade cutter and straight edge.
I cut mine 20 inches and applied to 3 sides of cage. I cut to cover under the door on front of cage. (large cage)
You can also buy magnetic strips (plastic covered) that you can cut to size---it's self adhesive on one side. Comes in a roll like tape.
Attach to plexigalss cut outs (all 4 sides) and it will hold onto cage bars. Place feeding bowls in bottom of cage,
It doesn't stop 100% but it's a huge improvement.
