Ive even taken them away!!!! She wont eat her seeds or her kibble!!! I let her go 3 days, and NOPE she hadnt eat anything!!! So I put her millet in there and she went to town.....:( Help please.
Im fully aware it isnt healthy!! I just dont know how to make her eat the healthy stuff. She has a bird seed mix in there daily, and I mix it with her pellets....but she WONT eat them.
How about trying something like this. When I was trying to get my cockatiels to eat veggies I started by daily putting veggies in the cage and sprinkling them with seeds. Although it took a while for my birds to show any interest in the veggies they did give in eventually (2-3 weeks). Now they love em. I would recommend putting what you want your bird to eat (ie. seeds, pellets, veggies) in a dish and sprinkle them with her favorite treats. Millet is very easy to crumble. Keep putting the other stuff in the cage at all times. Don't go for an all or nothing technique. At this point your bird may literally rather starve than eat that other stuff. Just take your time and realize that your bird will decide when it is ready.
