Moms how often do you deep clean?
Today I was cleaning, like everyday, just the normal stuff. Picking up toys, sweeping, vacuuming etc. It was just one of those days where everywhere I looked I could see a deep cleaning project that needed done. Like the top of my curtains are a little dusty, the little parts of the floor the mop wont' quiet reach, the grubby fingerprints on the outside of my front door, the light switches were looking a little grimy etc!
Do you try to tackle projects like this all at once or do you try to do one a week, a day what? I usually end up noticing it all at once and then going on a cleaning frenzy which drives my children and husband crazy! But it is so hard at time just to maintain with four kids, that I never seem to get to it until it is driving me crazy!
I do "normal" cleaning on a daily basis dishes, vacuum, laundry. Do bigger things on Sunday which is our cleaning day in the house. Wash windows, scrub tub and toilet etc.
But I only deep clean once a month. Take curtains down, pull out fridge and stove, clean carpets, etc. We normally do ours the first weekend of the month, and everyone in the house has to pitch in and help. The younger ones even have small chores they have to do to help out.
