Which National Park near Seattle is cooler for a 2 day visit?

My vote goes to Olympic NP, but to see as much of it as possible, leave as early as possible in the morning on the 19th and plan on coming back late on the 20th.
My favorite part about the park - well all of it really. The amazing thing is how much variety there is in the park - from beautiful snow clad mountains, hot springs, rain forests with huge old growth trees and gorgeous ocean beaches.
Wildlife viewing areas:
Hurricane Ridge - lots of very tame deer, Olympic marmots and gray jays are pretty much guaranteed
Hoh Rain Forest - lots of forest birds, frogs, elk and deer and the usual forest dwellers like squirrels, raccoons, etc are other possibilities
The beaches - Ruby, Rialto or any - lots of sea birds, tide pool sealife, possibly eagles and you may be lucky and see whales and seals out in the ocean.
Another secondary reason my vote would go to Olympic is that parts of Rainier NP and North Cascades NP could still be closed due to snow because of the higher elevations of those parks. Some years some of the roads aren't open until Memorial Day Weekend which would limit your ability to see a good deal of either of those parks.
Rainier is a great place to go in mid to late July and early August when the roads are all open and the meadows are all in bloom!
I love North Cascades NP too, but I think of it as more of an opportunity for a wilderness experience that is best appreciated by hiking or horsepacking into it, river rafting through it or taking the Lady of the Lake to Stehekin and other activities which would take longer than two days to fully appreciate.
