Fishy tail: what are they doing?
I had a 6" bloody parrot (male I think) in a 55 gallon tank. I thought he might want a girlfriend and so i found a 4" female parrot.
--I put her in the tank....at first they were flirting and he looked so happy. Then 2 days in, I start to notice him ramming her. She runs off and hides- he goes after her. I learned that it is actually fighting. So I divide the tank....then set up a little 10 gallon (temporary for tank water cycling purposes) and put her in it. well she seems ok but the water cycles and you can imagine.....about 4 days in she starts doin a funny thing---rubbiing up on glass like she wants back in the other tank.(they were 3 ft apart) She looked sick, pale, not eating--So i put her back in the 55 gallon
--ok so now the kiss fighting starts. they try to eat each others face and hes chasing her.....but she goes right back to him.
WHY?
SHE NOW WANTS TO GET TO OTHER SIDE, SHES DEEP IN COLOR..WHAT DO I DO? HE LOOKED LIKE HE WAS GOING TO HURT HER...HELP?
