How do I increase the rake angle of my Bajaj Avenger?
I own a bajaj avenger 200 cc Oil Cooled..please provide me the details on how to increase the rake angle..what parts to be used..and what'll be the approx. expenditure....????
those bikes already have a lot of rake.
The easy way to increase it ,
is to simply lower the rear of the bike.
Lower the rear end by moving the shock absorber mount farther back on the swing arm.
It's very easy to make a bolt-on shock absorber mount bracket.
Use angle iron >lay it along top of swing arm>>>bolt it to original shock mount.
Bend it down over end of swing arm>drill a small hole for chain adjuster bolt to go through,
Drill new shock mount hole ,,,where ever ya want,,,farther back than original hole & mount bottom of shock there.
You can try different positions depending on how much to lower the rear to get the Rake effect you want.

It will make a Definite Visual Difference in the Rake.
But it will Not make an Extreme difference or create radical change in Rake.
Extreme rake requires Cut and Weld modification of the Frame,,,or purchase of raked Fork Clamp "triple tree"
Lowering the Rear is Cheap,,,Easy,,"Safe",,,and NON-Permanent.
You can change it back to original very easy & quick.
Which makes it Good for "Testing" how you will like the bike with more rake.
If you Dont like it,,,you can change it back
