If it helps any we live in Austin, TX. She has a party every year and I am running out of ideas. Plus now she has a lot more friends that she wants to invite. Last year we had her party at Toys R US (yes, they have parties) the previous year we had a slumber party (will not do again the girls were out of control and decided to have a cake fight on my new carpet) the year before that we had a party at our home and had a clown come and had a pinata. We have done Chuck E. Cheese (she says that now she is too old to have a party there) and parks in the past. I suggested skating or ice skating but she did not like that. I just have no idea what to do to not spend a fortune, not have it at my home and let her invite as many children as she likes. Any ideas you have I will greatly appreciate. Thanks 
This probably won't help much... but for my kids, when they start understanding the value of money, I make them a deal:
They can have the money that I would have spent on the party.
So far, they've chosen the party, but I suspect that soon my oldest (10 yo) will start choosing the money!
I used to work at a Recreation centre that hosted birthday parties. They had different types of parties: swim parties (there was a pool in the same complex), sleep-over parties, craft parties, sports parties. And, they were really reasonable!!
