Ello, my bird doesn't play with the toys we buy him or eat certain fruits. I don't know why he doesn't eat fruits such as: watermelon, canteloupe, tomatoes, cherries, or any other fruits that are good for him. The only fruits he will eat would be grapes and apples. Now, the next problem. My other problem is that my bird doesn't play with his toys. He just..doesn't seem to like them. He's not scared of them. He just prefers to sit on a perch and chill. It's funny how he will be all fluffy and sit with one leg close to his body and the other on the perch. (I know he isn't sick he just does that like all birds do, to show they are relaxed.) Please give me any advice on how to introduce him to new foods, and have fun with toys. Thanks so much in advance.

as for the toys: again, my bird was shockingly similar at the start. after a few weeks (possibly months, don't remember), he began to nibble at them, and in no time he was playing with them. however, some birds just don't find certain things to be entertaining. try branching out with your toy selection. include mirrors! birds love them.
