Can i wake up my hamster to play and clean the cage?
I just got a new hamster and he sleeps all day so i can't clean the cage or play with him. He falls asleep in the morning between 7 and 9, so i was wondering if i could wake him up between 5 and 9 to clean the cage and play with him? Or would this make him sick?

No, it won't make him sick at all. Hamsters usually sleep during the day and are up at night. Mine are usually sleeping all day until about 9 at night then they are running on their wheels and such. This is when we feed them. They are usually sleeping again by 7 or 8 in the morning. It is fine to wake them up though to clean the cage. Just put them in either a travel cage with some bedding, or buy an exercise ball (usually at any pet store) and let him/her run in it while you are cleaning. I would suggest holding them at night though, around 8 or nine. If you wake them up while they are sleeping during the day, they won't be as friendly and might bite or squirm around.
