Dometop Bird Supplies

I've had my female canary for about a year now. She was a gift to me from a friend's father who breeds canaries. She used to fight with her mother alot. She went from living in a wide hamster cage, to a small bird cage, and in december I bought her a pretty big flight cage from petco.

She already molted before since my floor was covered in small feathers. She always had this toy that was a ladder, mirror, and beads all in 1. She always used to look at herself in the mirror but just recently I put a bigger mirror in a different part of the cage.

But ever since I put it there like 2 days later, I noticed that she was making weird clicking/crackling noises at night (and even during the day sometimes). She usually looks at herself in the mirror and opens her beak and stays that way for a bit. Also she puffs up and scratches herself alot. But she only does this infront of the mirror. During the day she's very active, drinks and eats and bathes.

Why is that? Is that normal?
