My puppy tears up every toy I give him?
My puppy ignores plastic or rubber toys unless there is food inside them, and he manages to get it out extremely quickly when there is (10 minutes regularly, 30 minutes frozen). He seems to prefer to chew on ropes and plush toys, but has been tearing apart the plushes I bring home for him, not to mention the ropes only last maybe a week before they're completely unraveled.
So, I went to my local healthy pet supply store today and asked about chewer toys that weren't plastic, and the associate convinced me to buy a toy made of boiled wool. Within 10 minutes, my pup had ripped off the toy's foot and ate it. I'm not worried about the foot, as the material is digestible, but I had to toss the toy in fear that he'd eat enough to block himself.
SO, Any suggestions on toys that my pup may enjoy without completely destroying? I can't afford to keep buying him new ropes and bully sticks on a week to week basis!

I suggest a homemade toy.I was really gonna suggest one of those kongs.but they are made of plastic(well the ones ive seen)I have gotten a toy(bone figure)from target and my dog never ripped it.she had problems like you and your dog is right now dealing with.It cost 9.99 Comes in red,green,and blue.My dog still hasnt ripped it.I bought that toy over a year ago.It is sorta of like a kong but not so expensive.Well the big kongs.I am sure it will work
