My son who is 11 pulls 38 lbs shoots in competition and is accurate at 20 yards.Killed a possum at 15 yards in his tree stand.It depends on distance and accuracy.Hitting the vital kill zone is the most important.I am not to familiar with crossbows but I think you can kill about anything at 80 lbs.In the state of Missouri there is no set bow draw limit.
