My Quaker Parrots are afraid of their nesting supplies, what do I do?
Every time I give them straw or twigs to use for their nest. their afraid of it. And they mostly attack it or push it off their cage.
Not all birds like the extra stuff for their nests. Just give them a nest box that they can climb into and get out without any problems. My most recent mother to be threw out of her nest box all the straw and other materials I had for her. So i left her alone, and she did lay five eggs with 2 actually hatching.
