There's not that much difference. I'd probably go with the first, because it offers more play area up top. They both have smaller doors than I'd prefer (for ease of cleaning), but look otherwise well designed. Good luck on the re-training. We've rescued two amazons - both bit when we got them. It took quite a while to get them over it, but you can.
