My son was really sick with croup and then he got double ear infections. Well all the meds are finally kicked in and he is doing a lot better 
Well when the croup was bad he didn't eat a single thing for 3 days. Then he started only eating applesauce and soft graham crackers. I tried feeding him veggies and other healthy foods he wouldn't take them and since he was sick I didn't push it. I just fed him what he would eat and that would only be like once or twice a day he would actually consume something. Now he is doing better and playing with his toys and being really active and no fever. He still won't eat anything else. I tried feeding him dinner and he wouldn't touch it. He would scream and throw his arms around. How do I get him to eat normal again? I don't know what to do to get him back to his normal eating habits since he acts like he wants no part of it.
You might want to check to make sure that the side-affects of his medication do not include appetite loss, or nausea.
Another possibility is that he just isn't quite feeling that great yet. My son, like a lot of toddlers, losses his appetite when he has just a mild cold, but, will still remain active. Considering what your little guy has been through, it wouldn't be unreasonable to think he needs just a little more time to feel up to eating like he used to. Just to be sure though, you should probably ask his doctor.
If the doctor says he's fine and should be eating like normal, make sure you're not so eager to get him to eat, that he's filling up on snacks, or milk and juice. You want him to come to the table with his full appetite. Good luck!
