Being a fully automatic espresso machine, the Gaggia Platinum Vision is a high end machine. It is designed for the best brewing experience you can have, it is fully automatic, durable and easy of use! Grind, dose and brew your coffee all at the touch of a button, then automatically foam and steam milk using the included Gaggia Milk Island. Allow designed principally for domestic use, the device could perhaps be used in a small commercial setup.
It offers all the benefits of the Platinum Swing Up, with the extra feature of an intuitive touch screen control panel, which makes it the top model in the range and the ultimate in bean to cup espresso. The simple to use touch screen offers the possibility to select a desired function or to enter the programming menu. The screen will give you options to control features like time, display, coffee dose, language, number of drinks served and also perform cleaning functions. It allows for precise brewing time after time and is very easy to use! As an added touch, the Gaggia Platinum can be programmed to switch itself on at a different time every day of the week, so it's ready when you are.
Depending on your taste, the built in commercial quality conical burr grinder can be adjusted to grind medium or coarse coffee beans. After being ground the beans are caught by the 250g bean hopper, which allows differing amounts of coffee per brew, depending on your taste. A special built in Pannarello steam wand provides superior milk frothing for those thick cappucinos and lattes and also provides hot water for cocoa, tea or soup.
A high pressure 15 bar pump and a stainless steel lined boiler with rapid steam boiling support are additional features of the Gaggia Platinum Vision. Maintenance and refilling is made easy, with the full detachable water tank. An automatic timer and energy saving modes, a stainless steel passively heated cup warmer, removable brew unit for enhanced cleaning opportunities. The Platinum Vision model also comes bundled with a few extra accessories such as an Aqua Prima water filter, a water hardness test strip, and brew group lubricant for the machine.
