How to cut and shape wood with precision?
Im trying invest in different types of lumber and guitar part so i can make my own guitars for fun maybe i can possibly sell them. But im wondering how and what do i need to cut wood shape it and smooth it out. I want it to be perfect and store quality I dont want it to look like a high scool wood shope project
To cut and shape wood usually needs power tools -- a band saw is excellent for getting the shape roughly right, then a router, sander, and rotary (ala Dremel) type tool are all useful for smoothing down the edges. The finishing work is typically done by hand.
