That I just brought all 5 of my piggies for their check-ups and she gave me lots of advice!
Stop using liquid vitamins! Vitamin C capsules are soo much better for them. The liquid vitamins lose their nutrition one week after you open them!
She also suggested that Zupreem piggy food is the best she's seen in her exotic piggy patients yet!
And of course what we already knew tons of fruits and veggies.
And the carrot crunchies, honey bars, and the cakes she actually suggests that they have them! (In moderation of course!) She said it keeps them chewing so their teeth don't get too big. Because mine get sick of chewing cardboard and wood all day long!
And that aspen is the best bedding to use, but pine is ok

I actually tastes both (the liquid and the capsules, and the capsules taste way better.... I guess it really does depend on the piggy...
Well, most of the advice you got is pretty good, but there are a few wrong things. Any commercialized chewing toys or treats (carrot crunchies, honey bars, etc) are horrible for your pigs. Artificial colors, sugars, preservatives, etc are unhealthy for your pigs. All you need to keep their teeth down is hay and pellets. Cardboard (clean of course) is a good toy, but not a neccesity. Unlimited hay is a neccessity and should ALWAYS be available for your pig. They need it for teeth and digestion.
Zupreem pellets aren't the worst pellets out there, but they are far from thr best. They use corn as a filler which you want to avoid. There are also some issues with the soy and other fillers in Zupreem. The best pellets are Oxbow pellets or Kleenmama's hayloft.
Fruits should only be used as a treat. Too much sugar and water content.
The advice on vitamin c (if your pig isn't getting enough from veggies) is correct and aspen is a great bedding!
